Starting in early 2025, we partnered with Udayan Care, with support from Microsoft, to deliver basic digital literacy courses across India. The initiative, part of our Contentful Connectivity program, focuses on building digital skills among young women and girls.
In Sahebganj, Jharkhand, we rolled out a one-day “Window to the Internet” course that introduces women to the basics of web browsing, Android and mobile apps, online safety and security, and even an introduction to AI. To date, nearly 4,500 women have actively participated in these workshops. Across all our hybrid offline and online skilling programs, we have reached over 6,500 participants—most of them women.
Together with our partners, we hope to extend the scope and scale of these digital skilling programs in the years to come, empowering more women to step confidently into the digital world.
