My name is Harsh, and I am from Dharamshala, Himachal Pradesh. As you may have seen in recent news and social media updates, this year’s heavy monsoon caused severe destruction in our city. Landslides cut off key roads, disrupted daily life, and caused immense hardship for many families.

Among the many affected services was the backbone internet line maintained by AirJaldi (operating locally as Rooter Broadband Pvt. Ltd.). The bypass road leading to Dharamshala suffered major landslides, damaging critical cables that connect Dharamshala with the surrounding valleys and villages. In some areas, even rivers carried away portions of the cable network.

Despite the dangerous conditions, AirJaldi’s engineering teams from Kangra and Dharamshala worked tirelessly—day and night—to repair the backbone and restore connectivity. Their determination ensured that we could once again access the internet, reconnecting homes, schools, and businesses that had been cut off.

Thanks to their efforts, Dharamshala is back online, even in the face of nature’s toughest challenges.
